Step 1

Before Our Crew Arrives

Remove Personal ItemsRemove all rugs, carpets, vehicles, tools, storage items, and personal belongings from the garage or work area. The space must be completely empty before our crew arrives. Our team does not move or remove personal items.
Review Existing ConditionsInform your crew leader about any pre-existing cracks, damage, leaks, or other concerns before work begins.
Address Moisture IssuesCheck the garage or work area for leaks, dampness, or standing water. Moisture issues should be resolved before installation because they can affect coating adhesion and cause delays.
Manage HumidityIf the space is especially humid, use a dehumidifier before and during installation as needed to help maintain dry conditions.
Prepare for Proper AirflowIf the space has windows, leave them slightly open when weather conditions are dry and humidity is reasonable. If safe and weather permits, leave the garage door slightly open the night before installation to help the space acclimate.

Finalize Your ColorConfirm your color selection with your sales representative at least two weeks before installation. Custom colors must be ordered in advance. If you need assistance, please contact Anthony or Shanna.
Review Weather ConditionsTemperature, moisture, humidity, and precipitation can affect the installation. Light rain or mist may not affect an interior project when the work area remains dry. We may be able to work in temperatures as low as 35°F when conditions are expected to warm to approximately 45°F during the day.
Prepare for Severe WeatherHeavy rain, freezing temperatures, or other extreme conditions may require rescheduling. We will contact you if weather conditions could affect your project.

Keep the Work Area AccessibleKeep the driveway and work area accessible from 7:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. on scheduled workdays.
Clear the DrivewayRemove vehicles or other items blocking the driveway or work area before 7:45 a.m.
Confirm Water and ElectricityEnsure that functional water and electrical outlets are available and accessible in the garage or work area.
Plan for Crew FacilitiesIf you would like us to arrange a portable restroom, please let us know in advance. Otherwise, please identify a restroom the crew may use.

Step 2

Keep Children and Pets AwayFor everyone’s comfort, please keep children and pets away from the work area during installation. Let your estimator and field supervisor know about any school schedules, nap times, pet routines, or other household considerations we should plan around. Every A.G. Williams team member is carefully vetted and background-checked, so you can feel comfortable welcoming our team into your home.
Wait for ClearanceDo not re-enter the garage or use the coated area until the crew confirms that it is safe to do so.
