What commercial floor coating work includes
Surface review
Existing coatings, moisture, cracks, traffic, and access are reviewed before the system is selected.
Commercial floors
Facilities and managed spaces need phasing, safety expectations, and downtime coordination before work begins.
Coating selection
The coating approach is matched to how the floor is used, cleaned, and returned to service.
Return to service
The proposal and closeout define cure timing, care, completed areas, and when the facility can put the floor back into use.
How commercial floor coating projects run
Preparation
We use shot blasting or diamond grinding to clean and profile the concrete. Grinding equipment is connected to a vacuum system to minimize dust.
Concrete reconstruction
Cracks, pits, and other floor imperfections are addressed with appropriate menders and fillers before coating begins.
Base coat application
The base coat is mixed and applied to form the foundation of the coating system.
Decorative chip broadcast
Decorative chips are hand-broadcast into the wet base coat to add color and texture.
Chip scraping
After the base coat dries, loose or vertical flakes are scraped away to create a uniform texture.
Clear coat
A UV-stable polyaspartic clear coat is rolled out to seal and protect the finished floor.
Why facility conditions have to lead the specification
A commercial floor coating has to fit the concrete, traffic, cleaning demands, access, and downtime the operation can allow. Making those conditions visible in the written scope supports a durable finish and a workable installation plan.
Commercial floor coating proof
A firehouse facility project sequenced around site access and coating requirements.

Commercial floor coating questions
Can the work be phased around operations?
Yes. Access, active areas, responsible contacts, available work windows, and return-to-service timing are reviewed before the sequence is finalized.
What determines the coating system?
Concrete condition, moisture concerns, existing coatings, repairs, traffic, cleaning demands, and allowable downtime all inform the recommendation.
Do you provide commercial insurance documentation?
A certificate of insurance is available for commercial scopes, with documentation and coordination addressed in the proposal.
