Looking for a reliable solution to protect and beautify your concrete floors? Discover the exceptional quality of A.G. Williams Painting Company's premium floor coating services, offering a blend of style and resilience honed over a century. Whether it's your garage or your basement, A.G. Williams has a solution designed to protect and preserve your floors.
Step one is preparation. We begin by using shot blasting or diamond grinding to profile and clean the concrete surface. Grinders are connected to a vacuum system to minimize dust. Step two is concrete repair. We address floor imperfections with menders and fillers to repair pits and cracks before the coating is applied.
Step three is the base coat. The base coat is mixed and applied to form the foundation of the coating system. Step four is broadcasting the flake. Decorative flakes are hand-broadcast into the wet base coat to add color and texture. Step five is scraping the flake. Once the base coat dries, the floor is scraped to remove loose or vertical flakes and create a uniform texture.
Step six is the clear coat. A UV-stable polyaspartic clear coat is rolled out to seal and protect the new floor. With A.G. Williams, you are investing in more than a floor coating: you are choosing a century of experience and a commitment to lasting quality. Visit us online to learn more and schedule your installation.
The process
Each step builds on the one before it, from bare concrete to a sealed, finished surface.
Shot blasting or diamond grinding cleans and opens the concrete so the coating can bond. Grinders run on a vacuum system to minimize dust.
Pits and cracks are filled before any coating goes down, so imperfections do not show through the finished floor.
The base coat is mixed and applied to form the foundation of the coating system.
Flakes are broadcast by hand into the wet base coat to add color and texture.
Once the base coat dries, loose or upright flakes are scraped away for an even, uniform texture.
A UV-stable polyaspartic clear coat is rolled out to seal and protect the new floor.
