Hey, guys, Anthony here with A.G. Williams. We’re at a municipal fire station right now. We just finished up the grinding. You can see the grinder over here. That’s one of the grinders we use to get around all the edges.
Today we’ll be grinding, and then we’ll be prepping. We’ll be fixing all these cracks that we find, any holes. These will all be filled in, and then we’re going to start basing and chipping. So I just wanted to show you guys what we’re…
Key takeaways
What happens before the coating decides how well it holds up.
The concrete is ground across the floor so the coating can bond.
A dedicated edge grinder reaches the concrete along walls and corners.
Every crack and hole found during preparation is filled before coating begins.
With preparation complete, the base coat and decorative flake go down, followed by the clear coat.
