Before Our Crew Arrives

Send Your Final Color SelectionsEmail your selected paint colors to liane@agwilliamspainting.com before the project begins.
Request Color AssistanceNeed help choosing a color? Contact your sales representative or Liane to schedule a complimentary Sherwin-Williams color consultation.

Review Existing DamageInform your crew leader about any pre-existing damage, broken items, broken glass, or damaged furniture near the work areas before work begins.
Trim Nearby BranchesTrim shrubs and tree branches that are close to the house or areas where our team will be working.
Keep Work Areas AccessibleKeep all work areas accessible from 7:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., Monday through Saturday, on scheduled workdays.
Clear Driveways and Work AreasRemove vehicles and other items from driveways and work areas before 7:45 a.m.

Turn On the Exterior Water SupplyMake sure the exterior water supply is turned on and accessible before our crew arrives.
Provide Electrical AccessEnsure exterior electrical outlets are working and accessible.
Turn Off SprinklersTurn off irrigation systems three to four days before the project begins and keep them off until the project is complete. Wet surfaces can interfere with preparation and painting. Damage caused by wet surfaces may not be covered under warranty.

Coordinate Household RoutinesPlease let your estimator or field supervisor know about pets, gates, escape routes, school schedules, or other household routines we should plan around. We will work with you to minimize disruption and help keep the workday safe. All A.G. Williams employees are vetted and background checked.
Keep Children Away from Active Work AreasChildren should remain away from active work areas throughout the project.
Secure Pets During WorkKeep pets safely contained and away from work areas while our crews are present.

Review the Power Washing ChecklistIf power washing is part of your project, review our Power Washing Checklist for detailed preparation instructions.
Report Gutter or Leader IssuesNotify us about clogged gutters or leaders before power washing begins. We cannot be responsible for pre-existing clogs or drainage issues.
Protect Thermo-Pane WindowsIf your home has thermo-pane windows, let us know before power washing begins so our team can take appropriate precautions around the window seals.
Keep Pets and Children Away During Power WashingEnsure pets and children remain away from the work area while power washing is underway.

Arrange Restroom AccessPlease identify a restroom the crew may use, or let us know in advance if you would prefer us to arrange a portable restroom.
